Lead and complete construction and concrete projects safely and within the set deadlines.

·  Collaborate with the construction manager and team on projects in Kansas and Nebraska, including new builds, maintenance, upgrades, and renovations
·  Possess a comprehensive understanding of project plans and materials, including concrete
·  Choose tools, materials, and equipment, manage inventory, and source parts as necessary
·  Maintain company equipment, materials, and the work site in a safe and orderly condition
·  Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues
·  Use the work order program to complete tasks on time according to priority
·  Provide timely communication of updates and concerns
·  Available for emergency breakdowns

Schedule & Compensation
This is a full-time role (40-60+ hours weekly), depending on project sites. Available for emergency calls. Initial wage is $20+/hour. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

About Us
Ohlde Family Farms is a multi-generational, multi-entity agricultural operation. Â Owned and operated since 1955, the Ohlde family has worked their entire lives in dairy farming and manages dairies and farms in both Kansas and Nebraska. Â The dairies include: Â Ohlde Dairy in Linn, KS, StateLine Robotic Dairy in Morrowville, KS and Prairieland Dairy in Firth, NE. Â Three other agricultural entities of Ohlde Family Farms are Foremost Farms, farming operation and Carter Creek, heifer development feedlot - both are based out of Linn, KS, and Prairieland Gold, a composting site, based out of Firth, NE.

Herd number is about 1525 with 350 dry and close up cows
We milk 176 cows per hour
We produce 120,000 pounds or 15,000 gallons of milk per day
We have an average of 10 calves born per day

Nutrition
5 different rations made up of a combination of corn or corn silage and different varieties of hay, plant-based proteins and vitamins and minerals
Each ration is specific to cow’s requirements for the amount of milk she is producing
Cows are fed once per day which will last them 24 hours

Cow Comfort
Cows live in free stall barns that are climate controlled to ensure maximum comfort
Cows lay on sand to keep them clean and help keep them cool or warm depending on time of year
Cows are free to roam about, eat, drink, sleep and chat with their other cow friends
